Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Side Husle 242, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, the Refund and Cancellation Policy, the Cookie Notice, and any rules displayed during registration, payment, posting, or application. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

Operator Information

The website is operated by Side Hustle 242, of Nassau Bahamas (“Side Hustle 242”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). Contact: sidehustlebahamas@gmail.com.

Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering agreements. An individual using the website for an organization confirms that they have authority to act for that organization. 

Platform Role

Side Husle 242 provides technology for publishing and discovering jobs, Worker profiles, and service listings. Except where expressly stated, we are not a recruitment agency, employer, employee, contractor, service provider, customer, agent, representative, partner, insurer, or guarantor of any user.

Accounts and Security

Users must provide accurate information, maintain one account per approved email or phone number unless authorized, protect login credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use. Users are responsible for activity occurring through their accounts unless caused by our proven failure to apply reasonable security.

Worker Verification

Workers may be required to upload government-issued ID and a current police record. Verification means only that documents were submitted and reviewed under our process; it is not a guarantee of identity, honesty, qualifications, conduct, safety, work quality, or suitability. We may request updated documents.

Employer Responsibilities

Employers must post genuine lawful opportunities, accurately describe duties and payment terms, comply with applicable employment, minimum wage, equality, immigration, health and safety, tax, and other laws, and must not request unlawful fees, discriminatory information, or participation in illegal activity.

Service Provider Responsibilities

Service Providers must accurately describe services, qualifications, contact information, prices where displayed, and work samples. They are responsible for licences, permits, insurance, taxes, safety practices, and legal compliance applicable to their services.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers must perform reasonable checks before hiring, agree directly with the provider on scope, price, timing, payment, safety, and cancellation terms, and should not send money or sensitive information without appropriate verification.

Prohibited Content and Conduct

Users must not post or engage in fraud, impersonation, discrimination, harassment, threats, exploitation, unlawful work, misleading claims, stolen content, intellectual-property infringement, malware, spam, pyramid schemes, unsafe services, adult sexual services, weapons trafficking, illegal drugs, or requests for sensitive documents unrelated to a legitimate transaction.

Job and Listing Approval

We may review, approve, reject, edit for formatting, return for changes, suspend, expire, or remove any profile or listing. Approval does not create an endorsement or warranty.

Fees and Plans

Prices, durations, and benefits are those displayed at checkout. Job and service listings expire automatically at the end of the purchased or free listing period. Featured or urgent placement does not guarantee views, applications, hires, customers, or revenue.

Payments

Payments to Side Husle 242 may be processed by a third-party payment provider. Users authorize the provider and Side Husle 242 to process transaction information necessary to complete the purchase. We do not intend to store full payment-card credentials.

User-to-User Transactions

Employment terms, service contracts, payments, deposits, refunds, taxes, insurance, injuries, property damage, and disputes between users are solely between those users unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of content they submit but grant Side Husle 242 a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, resize, display, distribute, and promote that content for operating and marketing the platform. Users confirm they have the right to upload all text, logos, photos, and documents.

Privacy and Communications

Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy. Users consent to operational emails relating to accounts, verification, applications, payments, moderation, security, expiry, and policy changes. Marketing communications must include an unsubscribe method where required.

Suspension and Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts or content for breach, fraud risk, non-payment, safety concerns, crediblecomplaints, legal requests, or harm to the platform. Users may deactivate accounts, subject to lawful retention requirements.

Disclaimers

The platform is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not warrant uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy, identity, qualifications, job availability, service quality, payment, safety, or the conduct of users.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Side Husle 242 and its owners, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, loss of income, data, opportunity, reputation, property, injury, or user-to-user disputes arising from use of the platform. Any monetary cap should be finalized by Bahamian counsel and must not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, a user agrees to indemnify Side Husle 242 against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs resulting from the user’s unlawful conduct, content, breach of these Terms, infringement, employment practices, or services.

Disputes and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. The parties should first attempt good- faith resolution through sidehustlebahamas@gmail.com . The final court jurisdiction, mediation, or arbitration clause must be confirmed by Bahamian counsel.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes should be posted with an updated effective date and, where appropriate, communicated to registered users. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where legally permitted.
